| What Information We Gather and Track | ||
|
To provide a great consumer experience and to operate effectively, WorldFlash's software products occasionally send information to servers at WorldFlash. The sections below describe these interactive Internet communications and how they can be disabled if you prefer. When we refer to "personally identifiable information" we usually mean "your personal email address"; for some users their "IP" address also qualifies. WorldFlash News Agent's optional registration form requests users to share contact information (like name and email address) and demographic information (like area code, zip code and age range). We use provided contact information from the registration form to send occasionally send you information about changes, updates or features of our services or to contact you when necessary. To deliver requested content and services beyond default settings, we require users to supply preference information (e.g. choice of news headline services). To monitor performance of our systems and delivery of requested content, we collect activity information (like user session times and click-thru information). The WorldFlash intelligent information agent automatically recognizes the IP and the domain name of anyone who uses the WorldFlash News Agent, the number of users of the Software, visits to news stories, clicks on links, quotes, weather etc. The WorldFlash agent can also identify the users' web browser, video screen parameters, and computer operating system. to top | ||
